![]() ![]() Thanks Chrisser, that is just what I found out. I had the replace button show up on 3 of them, but not the others. why don't you just replace flickr with a known good backup and experiment with your "filer" repairs offline? The same goes whenever I choose JPEG instead of EXIF-JPEG in Olympus Camedia Master 4.2 for photos taken with my Olympus digital point-and-shoot. in Photoshop, yes, the EXIF data does get stripped from your photos uploaded to Flickr. To CORDAN: Whenever you use Save for Web. #Olympus viewer 3 change flickr account update#We'll get an update from our operations team soon and we'll share when this is expected to be available again. Yes, these are still disabled, we apologize. It's been 2 days since this topic was started, I still cannot replace some of my photos. This seems to have affected photos that were once replaced before, such as one on, but there doesn't appear to be any pattern for which ones can and cannot be replaced. Well, I see that some of my photos are once again unable to be replaced. I thought maybe it had to do with me using the "Save for the Web" feature in PSE6.Īny update on this, Flickr folks? This is bad timing, indeed I have a weekly photo album that gets sent out every Sunday night, and this is *definitely* affecting my ability to do this (since it involves color-correcting and editing raw photos that are in my account, replacing them, and then creating the album). But was only able to replace some from that batch but not others. When I noticed the missing EXIF data I found the replace feature. So the files where much smaller and the uploads worked. I was having timeout problems uploading, so I saved these for the "Web" which stripped all the EXIF data (I didn't know that happened). I didn't even notice we had that option before, so it's not the end of the world. If you continue to have trouble you might also try some of the suggestions here. Trying a different uploader is one of the best things to try and I'm glad it worked. It will automatically come back when the maintenance is done. I'm not sure why one would be different from another, but after a successful attempt using the desktop, I had another go with just one image on the 'in-flickr' version and it 'boinked' yet again. In the end, my partner suggested I try the desktop uploadr we have (doh!) so I did, and that worked straight away! Hi - is this likely to be affecting the 'built in' flickr uploadr at all? I've had no luck whatsoever getting any images uploaded today via that route, despite about five different attempts (using Firefox as my browser on Windoze XP'). Do you think it will come back or is it what it is for those? First time I need to replace and the icon is missing on 3 out of 6 photos. When you are done, you will not be able to replace though. Filer as in file server you will still be able to edit with Picnic for these images. Uploading to Picnik is barely worth the time. When is Flickr going to incorporate onsite image editing. But considering how slow Picnik is anyway. How about Picnik? I've been unable to upload any images there for 3 days. Kevin (staff) edited this topic ages ago.ĭo you mean "filter" instead of "filer" in the 2nd to last sentence? (edited to add information about buddy icons) Note: This will affect buddy icons on the same filers (meaning you won't be able to replace them). We'll update this when we have information to share. During some maintenance, we had some problems with a filer which necessitated turning off the ability to perform these tasks. However the widget rotation will still be there. #Olympus viewer 3 change flickr account pro#For Pro accounts you'll know as the option to replace the image will be missing.
